The Archivio Dadamaino, created by the heirs after the artist's death in 2004 and developed by Nicoletta Saporiti and Fernando Colombo, is responsible for protecting and enhancing the artist's work. It promotes cultural initiatives, supports studies and research, collaborates on exhibitions and oversees the general cataloguing of the works.
A new management system
Together with the team of the Archivio Dadamaino we managed the complete transition from the previous archiving system to the new FileMaker management system, designed to ensure greater reliability, scalability and data consistency.
The work included:
• Analysis of workflows and mapping of existing structures.
• Design of the new database, defining tables, relationships and automation logic.
• Migration of data from the old system, with clean-up, normalisation and integrity checks.
• Development of working layouts for cataloguing.
• Optimisation of the management system to suit the Archive team's daily needs.
The result is a structured, high-performance FileMaker environment in line with archival standards, designed to support consultation, updating and enhancement of the documentary heritage.
