Villa Singer is owned by the antique dealer Marco Arosio and his family.
Its history begins over a century ago. “It was built at the end of the 19th century by an Austrian to make a perfume distillery,” says Marco Arosio. “The proximity to a waterway made it ideal for a commercial activity.” And he recalls: “In 1930 it was bought by my great-grandfather who wanted to retire to the countryside to cultivate the vineyard and allow my painter grandmother to work calmly.”
marcoarosio.it was created in collaboration with Marco Arosio to present Villa Singer and the collection of objects and furnishings selected in recent years that represent an extract of the extraordinary artistic and craft heritage of the Italian twentieth century.
