Fondazione Progetti Beverly Pepper, based in Todi (PG), manages the impressive artistic legacy of the American sculptress Beverly Pepper by researching, cataloguing, publishing and disseminating her works of art; by promoting meetings, seminars and art events; and by collaborating with institutions, associations, museums and collectors in Italy and around the world.
A new management system
The Foundation's requirement was to centralise the management of the critical and technical data of the works on a versatile system, which was already developed with the intention of later realising a Catalogue Raisonné Online from this application.
Our solution with Claris FileMaker: from inventory to Catalogue Raisonné
The new FileMaker management system developed in collaboration with the Foundation's curators has become much more than just a catalogue; it is a comprehensive working tool offering
  1. Archival centralisation: all essential data is now collected in one secure environment.
  2. Multi-location and real-time management: The platform allows immediate sharing and synchronisation of data between the Italian office and the New York collaborator.
  3. Ease of consultation: An intuitive interface tailored to the needs of the Foundation's staff, reducing search time and optimising daily efficiency.
  4. Ready for the future: A flexible FileMaker-based platform, easily scalable and adaptable to new cataloguing and research needs that may emerge over time.
