The Mimmo Paladino Archive accompanies and supports the contemporary artist, a central figure of the Transavantgarde movement, who still today works prolifically with a wide range of expressive media, including, in addition to drawing and painting, sculpture and various engraving techniques, architectural and theatrical projects and some photographic works.
Renewing a fundamental tool
The Archive, which already had a web-based application, was looking for a new tool that would offer more flexibility and data integration.
Together with the curator of the Archives, we developed a complete management system through the Claris FileMaker system, incorporating specific and more advanced functionalities, while retaining all the data from the previous system.
Data in realisation and customised interfaces
The system has been configured with dynamic tabs and fields capable of storing precise details unique to each type of work.
The detailed structuring of the data now allows extremely specific and cross-referenced searches on data of different origins, not possible in the previous system.
The user interface has been designed to simplify data entry, guiding the operator through the relevant fields according to the selected medium, ensuring speed and preventing archival errors, and providing simplified screens for users with limited or consultation-only privileges.
The Artworks
The section dedicated to the artworks of the gallery allows for the detailed cataloguing of the property according to the functional logic of the archive.

Exhibitions
A solution for archiving all personal and collective exhibition events with all references: list of exhibited works, stakeholders and pdf documents.
