K10 - Archive

Art collections
Lugano

MARTIN KUNZ, founder and promoter of K10 Kunzarchive & Projects is proud to announce the beginning of periodic events and activities that activate this archive as a sort of Center for Contemporary Art, Curatorial Studies and Practice, also in collaboration with other institutions. The events are dedicated to themes, documents and works to be shown, discussed and documented, about art and artists who are part of K10-kunzarchive. In the archive materials, books and works are gathered, tracing more than 35 years of curatorial activity, 25 of which Kunz spent as director of 3 different museums, in Lucerne, New York and Ascona, of which he was responsible for the curation, editing and production. More than 200 exhibitions and 150 publications are included in his career, many in Biennials, museums and other spaces, from the Venice Biennale, the Edinburgh International, the Trigon-Autumn Styrian Biennale in Graz, to major museums around the world.

A custom software

Working directly with Martin Kunz, he deepened his knowledge of Kunzarchive, supporting the work of his staff, optimizing the functionality of the database and developing new sections to meet the different needs.
Each archive manages and processes data differently.
Software, a daily tool, must be made to measure and implementable with modifications that follow the development of an active and creative reality.

About us

The OfficineBit team played a very important role in the reorganization of the K10 Archive. Always available and careful to our needs, they started and continued the collaboration with great enthusiasm and professionalism thanks also to the considerable experience they have shown with the art archives.
